As the ghost of Fallen tycoon Eria Bugembe Sebunya  alias Kasiwukira continues to turn in his grave, security forces have failed to locate his killers.

Today three justices of court of Appeal led by justice Elizabeth Musoke Kibuka, Ezekiel Muhanguzi and Halen Obula were ready to listen to the Appeal where the state challenges the acquittal of Sarah Nabikolo Sebunya, the widow to Kasiwukira. However, the defense lawyer Macdusman Kabega told court that court files were not ready and asked for an adjournment. Kabega told court that there are important papers which are missing on the court file. He asked the justices to adjourn the matter to allow the court of Appeal Registrar organize the file well.

Kabega was supported by another defense lawyer Ladislus Rwakafuzi who submitted that the justices must consolidate all the Appeals, that of a police Constable Ashraf Jadeni and Sandra Nakungu, the sister to Nabikolo who were convicted for the murder of  Kasiwukira.

Justice Musoke allowed Rwakafuzi’s application and noted that all files will be handled on the same day by the same justices. The case was adjourned to 26 March 2019. It should be remembered that High Court Judge Wilson Musalu Museni convicted Jadeni and Nakungu to 20 years in prison. He stated that the convicted people had a hand in the murder of Kasiwukira who was knocked by a speeding car  in Muyenga as he went to his home from jogging.
