Don’t Mind Son, Your Time Will Come – Bebe Cool Encourages Son Alpha To Be Like Ronaldo After Spending Entire AFCON Tournament On The Bench…

Singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool is one of those Ugandan celebrities who follow the game of football with keen interest and has advised his son Thierry Ssali to wait patiently until his time to shine comes.

In the just concluded AFCON U20 Tournament where Uganda lost to Ghana by two goals to zero in the finals, he had even more reasons to follow up; his son, Alpha Thierry Ssali was one of the 25-man squad that travelled to Mauritania.

Bebe Cool is having mixed emotions at the moment. He’s so happy that his son is coming back home with a finalist medal, but so sad that Alpha didn’t feature for a single minute of the maximum 6 games that the Uganda Hippos have played in the just concluded tournament.

Statistically, Uganda played over 550 minutes at the tournament and Alpha didn’t get even a single minute of all those to impress.

Alpha, who is currently playing for Proline FC in Uganda’s second tier league, was far from Coach Morley Byekwaso’s pecking order. For others, Alpha making it to the 25-man squad was a relative achievement to the 17-year-old.

Bebe Cool congratulated the Uganda Hippos team upon making it to the finals, and encouraged his son to keep pushing and believing until his time comes.

“Congratulations to the Hippos for the great performance you put up during the AFCON tournament, for us Ugandans we are proud of you all,” Bebe Cool posted of his Facebook page.

“And for you my son Alpha Ssali Thierry, I’m so proud of you and sure you have learnt a lot that come your time, you will raise the Ugandan flag to the rest of the world,” he added.

“My message to you is don’t look down on yourself but continue the fight. Ronaldo Luiz Nazario De Lima never played his first tournament as he was kept on the bench but he used what he learnt to become what he is,” Bebe Cool emphasised to his son.
