Published

on

Renown MC and TV personality Edwin Katamba alias Mc Kats has warned that his lover Fille Mutoni is about to run mad because of drugs.

MC Kats who also doubles as Fille Mutoni’s husband and the father to her kid revealed that the singer needs urgent help because of the high rate at which she is taking of drugs and in particular cocaine.

While on Dembe FM’s talk and talk show yesterday, Mc Kats said that a number of artists in Uganda abuse drugs and in particular cocaine which has led to their downfall, while Others are running mad.

“I am seeing Fille’s downfall now, Fille moves with a bad group of individuals who are misleading her, she needs urgent help. She no longer listens to me as she used to, she urgently needs someone to talk to her before she runs mad because she is now a drug addict. She uses a drug called “Mentho”, many Ugandan artistes take this drug and it has led to their downfall,” Kats said.

Kats called upon the general public to arrest Fille Mutoni if they find her with a one Andy an Indian with whom they smoke weed. Kats displayed all the references from old Kampala police station and Central police station in Kampala regarding Fille’s case.

Kats also warned that there are number of artistes who have run mad while others are flopping musically because of drugs and Fille is following the same path.

Among the artistes that Kats gave as examples include Jackie Chandiru, who is in rehab, Jamal, who also almost ran mad because of drugs and Qute Kaye who was given a house by Maama Lususu after he was caught red handed stealing car mirrors which he wanted to sell to get money for drugs.

Kats also revealed that Qute Kaye and his baby mama Pretty Glo parted ways because the musician was taking more drugs than food.

Find A Solution To Why Artistes Are Leaving Museveni Instead Of Fighting Petty Wars – Hilderman Hits Back At Bebe Cool

Published

on

Musician Hillary Kiyaga alias Hilderman has hit out at Bebe Cool for exposing him as one of those people who are president Museveni’s money but are now denying.
In a lengthy letter via his social media page, Hilderman says that Bebe only gave him two million shillings which was not part of the contract they signed because the money that Bebe was distributing was for only artists who participated in the Tubonga naawe project which Hilderman was not part of.

Hilderman says that it’s true he was part of the 2016 Museveni campaign team but not in the Tubonga Nawe project where Bebe was given 400 million shillings for the artists’ SACCO .

Bebe last evening released a video of Dr Hilderman signing some papers with money on the table and promised to release more videos for other artists who denied that they never received any money from the president . Below is Hilderman’s letter:

RESPONSE TO BEBE COOL’S BLACKMAIL.
Background.

I was part of the 2016 campaign trail for president Museveni. With all due respect we had a contract and Memorandum of understanding between me and the contracting body KK Advocates which deserves
respect .

I was contracted to offer a service which i openly performed with dignity and royalty as was instructed by our MOU And I was paid. This campaign was branded with the Tubonga Nawe song which was launched in 2016 at Munyonyo where i was invited as a guest . The President was the chief guest and he pledged 400 millions towards the artists sacco. Bebe cool was granted the platform of speaking on behalf of all artists and so followed up the president’s pledge.

While at Sheraton some evening, a colleague called me and informed me how Bebe was
distributing money to artists who attended the Munyonyo event which i had also attended. I rang Bebe and he directed me to find him at serena.Bebe told me the money was only for musicians who featured in Tubonga Nawe song but not allartists. Since I never featured in the song, I automatically bought his statement. I decided to leave his hotel but before closing the door he called me back and gave me 2millions (two millions) and told me to sign for his easy accountability to legit beneficiaries. In the audio he muted this should reflect.

CLARIFICATION.
• I was part of the 2016 President mu7 campaign trail and I have never declined.
• For my services, the contracting body paid me the agreed sum of money.
• I was contracted for a period of time not on a permanent basis.
• No future political regulations were put on me, meaning after my contract I was free to
exercise my rights and freedom as any Ugandan.

• In case this money was for artists sacco, it was unlawful for Bebe who was mandated to
deliver it to sacco administrations to personally distribute it to individuals especially when
he had been directed by the Donor body

• I received 2 million shillings from Bebe and I signed for it, it would be more professional in all your BLACKMAIL endeavours to bring out every thing since you called it accountability.

• The public would be interested to know how a respected Ugandan spent their money. Lay
out how you distributed it in case your accountability is not aimed at black mail.

• It would be with good spirit also to inform the public how far the sacco establishment has
gone so far since you were mandated and facilitated as per your acknowledgement in your

CONCLUSION.
I have never DENIED participating in the NRM campaigns and struggles, actually not only for last 2016 but also the previous ones. I repeat, mbade wa NRM era nga sikikweka nga era bwesikweka kulaga nti nakyuka. , our aim is to unite all forces not create disunity. There are major issues at stake than your petty wars, as an elder brother your task would be actually to establish reasons why artists who supported muzei are running away. Your task now would be not losing anymore Hildermanz to the opposing side if you genuinely love your party.

For God and my country.
Kiyaga Hillay Innocent .Dr Hilderman.

MP Kato Lubwama Rallies Musicians: We Will Only Support New Regulations If Some Rules Are Removed

Published

on

Rubaga South legislator Kato Lubwama, who also doubles as the shadow minister for culture and performing arts has warned that musicians and artists will only support the new proposed regulations by the Ministry of Gender if they remove a section of rules that will squeeze artistes.
“For the past two days, I’ve been reached by several media & people is seeking for my comment on the intended regulation of artists. To say this loud and clear, I don’t support it in its current form.
Artistes in Uganda have single-handedly managed to grow art in the country without any help from government. It is thus disturbing to learn that the only time government has come out, it is with such regulations which threaten the future of art in the country,” the comedian turned MP said.
He added, “Much as there are a few positive rules in it that I agree with, majority are against the future of art in Uganda. The good thing is it is still just a draft which can be changed subject to our contributions.
I urge all of my colleagues in the art industry to come out and contribute towards this law because it will be us who will be affected once it is enacted into law.”
