I Stopped Beefing Because It’s For Kids – Bobi Wine To Bebe

    By Hadadi Mubiru

Kyadondo East MP Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has warned Bebe Cool to stop acting like a kid and thinking in the past.

Speaking to the Grapevine, Bobi Wine said the issues of beefing other musicians is for the past and when someone as senior as Bebe Cool does it, he is pushing the industry back.

‘I used to think that way and do such fights when I was still a boy, but when my mind grew, I realised I would be more useful to many people if I stopped such thinking. That’s why I’m going higher and higher every day,” Bobi Wine said.

He went further and said, what Bebe Cool is doing is so kiddish and meaningless and is pushing the industry back in the old days when musicians thought that to get more fans, one had to biff with his colleagues.

When we asked Bebe Cool why he’s pushing the industry back with his kiddish bickering, like Bobi Claims, Bebe told us that Bobi should back off and mind his business.  Bebe said he only listens to his feelings, so Bobi Wine should stop advising him on what to do.

Bebe is currently in south Africa where he went to shoot his two music videos.

How Massaging Two Male Legislators At A Go Placed Masaka City MP Kakande’s Marriage On Verge Of Collapse…

    Juliet Kakande Kikomeko

Even though troubled Masaka city female legislator Juliet Kakande Kikomeko is boasting that she is a happily married woman, Denis Ssekabira the Katikamu North Constituency insists that her marriage is on the verge of collapse.

During a live TV talk show, Ssekabira revealed that since the day Kakande was captured on camera in the middle of parliamentary proceedings massaging two male legislators, her marriage turned chaotic because her husband started suspecting her of having other men.

Ssekabira accused Mpindi Bumali one of the male representatives of the people with disabilities in parliament of causing trouble for Kakande adding that he is a man who has no respect for women and always feels happy whenever he sees them crying.

Kakande was captured on camera massaging Mpindi. She later turned to Kyamuswa county legislator Moses Kabusu who forced Kakande’s hands to his head and was seen feeling the sweetness of the massage to the extent of closing his eyes.

A bitter Ssekabira exposed Kakande’s secrets when while reacting to Mpindi’s verbal exchange with Mawogola South legislator Gorreth Namugga whom he declared incompetent and not fit to be a Member of Parliament.

Namugga also responded by declaring Mpindi an idiot who sold his soul to defend corruption yet Ugandans are crying due to the hard economic situation they are going through.

A bitter Namugga wondered how a well thinking MP like Mpindi can praise former Leader of Opposition in parliament Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba for accepting the Shs500m service award of being a cooperative Leader of Opposition in parliament.

Mpindi maintained that Mpuuga deserved the money given to him and other three commissioners of parliament; Esther Afoyochan, the Zombo district Woman legislator; Prossy Akampulira Mbabazi, the Rubanda district  Woman legislator; Solomon Silwany the Bukooli Central legislator and in total they shared Shs1.7bn.

Mpindi was very bitter with fellow legislators who are leading the move of collecting signatures to force speaker Annet Anita Among to call parliament and debate the said scandal claiming that the said legislators and those who signed including Namugga and Ssekabira are exposing their ignorance before their voters.

He further challenged Ssekabira to also speak about the married woman he snatched from another man insisting that he has a list of women he used.

Former Kawempe South legislator Mubarak Munyagwa pleaded with the said legislators to calm down because fighting live on a  TV will please President Museveni because he is the one behind the Service award and also the censure motion to divert Ugandans from discussing serious issues in the country.

Pressure Mounts On Mayiga As Buganda Clan Heads Strategise On Raiding Namibia To Check On Kabaka Mutebi…

Omutaka Augustine Mutumba (R) the leader of the Clans council. On the Left is Kabaka Mutebi (C) in Namibia

In their meeting last week, Buganda Kingdom clan heads council passed a resolution to send a delegation to Namibia to check on their chairperson who also doubles the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi.

Last Month, Charles Peter Mayiga the Kingdom Premier confirmed that Kabaka Mutebi is in Namibia resting after receiving medication from his medical experts in Europe.

However there are ongoing allegations that Kabaka Mutebi is in a specialized hospital in Namibia. Former Buganda premier Joseph Mulwanyamuli Ssemogerere recently pleaded with Baganda and other people to pray for the king adding that he was responding well to medication in Namibia.

Based on the above uncoordinated explanations, the clan heads have now passed a resolution to send a delegation to Namibia to check on the King so that they can give the right explanation to their grandchildren.

Highly placed sources in the clan heads council told theGrapevine that the delegation will be led by Omutaka Ssalongo Augustine Kizito Mutumba the speaker of the council and Omutaka Fredrick Lutakome Kayiira Gajule the former speaker of the clan heads council who also doubles as the Mbogo clan head.

Sources divulged that they chose Kayira because he is a close friend to Kabaka Mutebi and he understands him very well.

Mutumba was chosen because he is the immediate supervisor of the clan heads council when the Kabaka is absent.

They want him to report to the king what is going on in his kingdom in his absence.

They will also be accompanied by Omuttaka Kasujja the head of Ngeye clan who was chosen because according to Kiganda culture, he is the one responsible for monitoring the king’s health.

Other clan sources added that another resolution was taken to direct each clan to bring Shs1m to facilitate their clan heads’ travel to Namibia and the mobilization process has started.

However, the Royal Clan have protested the move insisting that grandchildren cannot contribute money to facilitate the travel of their clan heads when the Kingdom administration headed by Mayiga are collecting billions of shillings from the Kingdom properties, especially land and buildings.

A section of clan heads are very scared that Mayiga is going to frustrate their travel because he doesn’t want people to see the King until the time is right.

Recently, he told owekitiibwa Professor Muhamood Katerega, a representative in the kingdom parliament that people will not be allowed to see Kabaka.

When contacted, owekitiibwa Israel Kitooke Kazibwe the Kingdom spokesperson and the minister in charge of mobilization said that he has not yet been informed about the development. He promised to return to us after ascertaining the facts.

theGrapevine made several phone calls to Omutaka Mutumba for a comment but did not pick our calls by press time.

On several occasions, clan heads have been asking Mayiga to allow them meet the king but his promises have always turned out to be empty.

Since 2019, the Kabaka has been in and out of hospital locally and internationally.

Speaker Among’s Husband Magogo In Deep Trouble As Lawyers Threaten To Resurrect Criminal Charges; Petition FIFA’s Infantino Over US, United Kingdom Sanctions…

FUFA boss Moses Magogo and his sweetheart Anita Among

A team of city lawyers led by Allan Mulindwa have started the process of resurrecting the criminal charges opened against troubled Federation Uganda Football Association (FUFA) President Moses Magogo.

Exclusively speaking to the mighty Grapevine, Mulindwa revealed that through his client who also doubles Makindye West legislator Allan Ssewanyana, they have provided satisfactory evidence to police’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on how corrupt Magogo is but they were frustrated by his wife Annet Anita Among the speaker of parliament.

In 2019, Magogo was among the two football managers who were suspended by the Federation of the International Football Association (FIFA) adjudicatory chamber of the independent  Ethics Committee after being found guilty of reselling the 2014 World Cup tickets.

Magogo was suspended for two months without participating or being involved in any football activities.

Mulindwa said that he led football stakeholders and they petitioned the senior Minister of Education and Sports who is also the First Lady to intervene in the matter and she directed that Magogo be prosecuted since there was evidence.

The criminal file against Magogo was allocated to Charles Twine who by then was also the spokesperson of the CID as the investigating officer but counsel Mulindwa claims that he was not cooperative.

When speaker Among took over parliament leadership, Twine was transferred to parliament to head CID at parliament and he is the one who slapped criminal charges on political activist Habib Buwembo for disturbing the peace of Speaker Among.

“Before being appointed Speaker, Among used to interfere with football matters. Magogo was using her by then even though they were not officially married to compromise President Museveni,” Mulindwa said.

He added that as football stakeholders, they cannot look on at sanctions the United Kingdom and United States have slapped on Magogo because they will negatively affect the country’s football development because right now, there are so many countries which are close allies with the United States of America where he is no longer allowed to go.

It is on this matter that he disclosed that they have started the process of petitioning FIFA over the matter.

“For FIFA to make a decision, somebody has to make a petition and that’s what we are planning as football stakeholders,” he added.

Because of the sanctions, Mugogo is not going to travel to the United States or Canada and Mexico to attend the 2026 world cup tournament where all international football managers are going to be.

He revealed that this is not the first time he has complained to FIFA over Magogo who drags partisan politics into football management.

Foreign affairs senior minister Gen Jeje Odongo confirmed to theGrapevine that the said sanctions are not only going to affect the individuals sanctioned but also their immediate family members.

Magogo was sanctioned because he is a husband to Speaker Among who is accused of being corrupt and using her office to steal from the poor.

Among was first sanctioned by the United Kingdom who even went ahead and accused her before the President of using the money she stole from poor Ugandans to buy a house in their country.

When contacted as the chief government legal advisor on the sanction slapped on government officials and the way forward, Attorney General Kiryowa Kiwanuka declined to comment.

However, speaker Among and her henchmen led by Chris Obore the parliament’s corporate and communication affairs director rubbished the allegation insisting that his boss id being witch haunted because she presided over the passing of the homosexuality law.

Others who were sanctioned include; Amos Lugolobi the State Minister for Finance in Charge of Economic Planning and his wife Evelyne Nakimera; former Deputy Chief of Defense Forces Lt. Gen. Peter Elwelu on allegation of committing crimes against humanity when he commanded the attack on the palace of Rwenzururu Kingdom; former Karamoja affairs senior minister Marry Goretti Kitutu and her husband Michael George Kitutu and Agnes Nandutu the former junior Karamoja affairs minister.
