It Is Not Enough To Merely Have More Vag*nas In Parliament And Cabinet – Stella Nyanzi Attacks Minister Amongi

    Published

    on

Human rights activist, academic and controversial social researcher Dr. Stella Nyanzi through her facebook page has attacked president Museveni’s female ministers and some female members of parliament for being greedy and thinking about themselves.

Nyanzi mainly directed her attacks to the Lands minister Betty Amongi who she blasted for being a land grabber, a land thief, a dirty dealer of land deals and a con artist.

    Below is  Nyanzi’s verbal attack:

“It is not enough to merely have more vaginas in parliament and cabinet. Museveni’s women do not represent the masses. Those women flagged before us whenever we cry about the huge gaps in gender parity in Uganda, were empowered only to fill their big bellies with more loot from the public. Amongi Betty is another of Museveni’s plump vaginas in power.

In addition to being an MP and Minister of Lands, she is also a land grabber, a land thief, a dirty dealer of land deals, a con artist, an evil legislator of wicked land law reforms, and a property misappropriator. Having joined Museveni’s cult of eating vaginas without a conscience, she got swollen with so much power that shamelessly drove her to support the oppressive loot of land in Apaa and Amuru. Feeling as empowered as a vagina at the top of Uganda, she ignored and dismissed the plight and shame of nude protesting women whose sole livelihoods relied on that land. This vagina even had the audacity to touch the cherished Mailo of the Baganda. Iiiiwoooo…

As much as I struggle with facets of Justice Catherine Bamugemereire’s land probe commission, I am glad that Amongi’s thieving vagina was plucked, shaved, probed, fingered, pounded, salted, spiced, boiled, steamed, fried, toasted, roasted, baked and served up for the Ugandan public to see clearly. After dodging the summons repeatedly, she showed up in her land grabber’s capacity. When the shameful magnitude of her theft dawned on her, she stopped comprehending English and asked for a Luo translator. Behold the timeless curse of nude women is at work!”

Minister Betty Amongi is being grilled by the Bamugemereire commission for grabbing land and misusing her office, she entered the second day of grilling today.

Pressure On MP Ssemujju Mounts As M7’s NRM And Bobi Wine’s NUP Plot To Kick Him Out Of Kira Municipality…

    Published

    on

NUP boss Bobi Wine (L) at lawyer George Musisi's home. Inset is MP Ssemujju Nganda

Highly placed sources in National Unity Platform (NUP) have revealed to theGrapevine that the reason why their party president went to the thanksgiving ceremony organized by his personal lawyer and also human rights activist George Musisi at his Bulindo home was to make sure that the entire Kira Municipality feels his presence in the area.

Credible sources said that NUP inner circle has already taken a decision to front lawyer Musisi to contest on their card against Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda who has been in parliament since 2011.

Ssemujju recently told theGrapevine that he will retire from parliamentary politics once President Museveni is defeated thus pouring cold water on rumours that he was going to retire and give other politicians an opportunity to represent the area in parliament.

Early this year, Musisi told theGrapevine that he was going to contest against Betty Nambooze in Mukono Municipality.

However, NUP insiders have told theGrapevine that Bobi Wine and his handlers established that it is not the right time to lose Nambooze one of the senior legislators who decided to stomach public attacks from his longtime political comrades like Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba shielding the actions of Bobi Wine in the Shs500 million service award saga.

Sources added that Ssemujju is in NUP’s black book of MPs who undermine Bobi Wine and he recently faced off with Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro who declared him a hypocrite.

Sources said that Bobi Wine was briefed that Ssemujju can be defeated if a strong candidate is fronted against him because voters have established that he is among the opposition legislators who have been sealing multibillion deals with members of the DEEP STATE.

“You have seen how Ssemujju shields Mpuuga concerning the Shs500m scandal. He has been demeaning our party president that he was misled by our Leader of Opposition in Parliament Joel Ssenyonyi. He said that he cannot sign any document that is against Mpuuga because of their friendship. But when it comes to Museveni, he roasts him like nothing; that kind of person cannot be a leader,” a source who is a top decision maker in NUP said.

He added that voters see Ssemujju as a very conservative leader because he doesn’t even allow them to enter his home.

He placed a tent near his home and whoever wants to see him waits for him from that tent.

However, Ssemujju said that he was in a good life even before joining politics, his wife Faridah Ssemujju was driving a good car and his children were studying in good schools and even if he leaves parliament, his life will not change.

Sources said that at first Bobi Wine and his people were planning to front real estate dealer Jimmy Lukwago who was was defeated by Ssemujju in 2021 elections because Bobi Wine’s brother Eddy Yawe had already declared his interest to contest for Wakiso district chairperson yet their secong option, Kira Municipality mayor Julius Mutebi, was still interested in contesting for the same position he is occupying.

Sources in Lukwago’s camp are aware of the development at Makerere Kavule where the headquarters of NUP are situated and it is the reason why their man has decided to go back to the drawing board.

But others insiders told us that Lukwago is hiding from voters who have already started asking him for money and he needs money to secure the NUP ticket because he thinks that this time it is going to be more expensive compared to 2021.

Bobi Wine was briefed that Musisi is very strong and popular in Church of Uganda because he sits on the land committee of Kira Church of Uganda a position he has used to improve the lives of youths and women in Kira.

Sources added that Musisi is easy to be marketed among the people of Kira municipality because most of them are elites like himself and are tired of the tricks Ssemujju and friends in the opposition in parliament play which costs the taxpayers money.

Sources said that Bobi Wine was briefed that FDC Najjanankumbi leadership led by Patrick Amuriat and Nathan Nandala Mafabi have been clandestinely mobilizing people from their home areas of Teso and Bugisu who stay in Kira to register and vote from there so that they can use their numbers in the box to defeat Ssemujju.

President Museveni’s National Resident Movement (NRM) is also on the ground mobilizing political support to force Ssemujju out of Kira and they plan to front a one Isaac Ssenkubuge who is the Bweyogerere Division chairperson.

theGrapevine has established that strategic meetings for Ssenkubuge are conducted every weekend at Zebra spot hotel near Kira Division police chaired by Mamerito Mugerwa the former Kira Municipality mayor.

Ssenkubuge confirmed his intentions to contest against Ssemujju explaining that for a long time he has been hoodwinking people that he is in the opposition while silently benefiting from Museveni’s government.

However other sources said that Mamerito Mugerwa is the one fronting Ssenkubuge and financing his political ambitions to revenge on Ssemujju whom he accused of leading his downfall in 2021 when he contested to become Kira Municipality mayor.

Mamerito says Ssemujju told voters that he is a thief.

“Ssemujju told people that Mamerito is a thief who steals water from National Water and Sewerage Corporation. He also told them that he steals the checks that government donates to women groups to fight poverty. He further accused Ssenkubuge of being Mamerito’s barking dog and mouthpiece because by then Mamerito was sick and could not ably speak,” a source said.

Sources claim that in 2021,  Ssenkubuge was defeated by NUP’s Faruk Muniga, Kkonde who was bankrolled by Ssemujju through FDC came next and Ssenkubuge was in 3rd position.

Surprisingly, he was declared the winner and Muniga took the matter to Court. Up to now, the matter has not yet been decided.

Sources said that Ssenkubuge is very sure with such political maneuvers, he is very likely of defeat Ssemujju and Musisi come 2026 parliamentary elections.

He added that Ssenkubuge got a photograph when President Museveni was in a meeting with Ssemujju’s father Mzee Nganda who is his close friend and a supporter of NRM.

Ssemujju admitted that his father is a friend to Museveni and one time when Museveni visited the defunct WBS TV to appear on Face the Press talk show moderated by senior political journalist Peter Kibazo, Museveni was very bitter with Ssemujju for attacking his government and family and threatened to report him to his father Nganda.

However theGrapevine has established that Ssemujju is still strong on ground especially among the elites and Musisi and Ssenkubuge have to work so hard to defeat him.

NRM Top Boss Asks IGP Byakagaba To Kick-Out New Bean Weevils In Police Force As CID, DPP Bosses Send Last Warning To Violent Politicians…

    Published

    on

Abass Byakagaba the Inspector General of Police (IGP) shaking hands with Maj Dr Tom Magambo the CID director. Inset is Mr. Dombo

Veteran legislator and also the National Residence Movement (NRM)’s Director For Communication Emmanuel Lumala Dombo has asked Abass Byakagaba the Inspector General of Police(IGP) to clean-out the violent and bad characters in the force who are placing President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s government in bad light.

Dombo revealed that on several occasions as a politician who deals with people on a daily basis, he has observed a number of policemen during the execution of their duties violate the rights of civilians which has prompted him and other people in the ruling party to realize that their actions are intenteded to provoke the public against Museveni’s government.

Appearing on Pearl FM Radio, Dombo explained that recently in the Dokolo by-election, he was shocked when he saw a policeman throwing a teargas canister at the public yet they were peacefully escorting their candidate.

He insisted that the agenda of the said policeman was to provoke the public to turn against security.

Dombo upheld that there are still bean weevils in the police force and Byakagaba has to flash them out because whatever they do, it is them the government spokespersons who defend them yet they are not involved in their activities.

“The other time I received several phone calls from foreign media asking me for a comment about the statements which were made by former IGP Martin Okoth Ochola threatening to beat journalists in the course of doing their work.

Police leadership and other security agencies should know that their juniors take whatever statement they make as an order to execute. So they should be very careful when making statements before the public,” Dombo said.

He advised policemen to know that even though they are supposed to enforce law and order in the country, they are also Ugandans and among the people they are dealing with are their relatives.

Dombo was responding to the ugly incident that happened in Bulindo in Kira Division Wakiso district where National Unity Platform (NUP) boss Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) was injured with a teargas canister and admitted to Nsambya hospital.

Police blamed the musician turned politician for disobeying the police advice of not disrupting the traffic laws in the area.

They defended their men and women who were on the ground.

The development comes a day after Maj Dr Tom Magambo the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director warned politicians and other stakeholders against violating the law as the 2026 elections fever draws close.

The soft spoken Magambo openly told Ugandans that they will not act like pastors and other religious leaders when dealing with people involved in election crimes.

“We are not going to sit down and smile as you burn the city, that will not happen. I want to assure you, if you are planning anarchy, come prepared. You don’t expect a director of CID to turn into a pastor,” Magambo said.

Jane Frances Abodo, the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) said that they have started preparing themselves for the coming elections and their prosecutors are going through training on how to deal with election crimes.

The 2021 general elections was one of the most violent election Uganda has experienced after a number of people especially in the opposition were imprisoned and killed while others survived with serious injuries on their bodies.

Veteran journalist Andrew Mwenda alleged that intelligence had information that Bobi Wine supporters had planned to burn Kampala to ashes if Justice Simon Mugenyi Byabakama didn’t declare their presidential candidate as the winner of the 2021 presidential elections.

However Dombo pleaded with Bobi Wine and other opposition politicians not to incite violence or provoke security, noting that even though they are always on planes flying abroad to receive medication, Uganda is still their home and it is the reason why they always come back.

Before President Museveni fired former IGP Kale Kayihura, he first warned him that there were bean weevils in police. He tasked him to clean his force.

The President sounded the warning after gruesome murder of Andrew Felix Kaweesi the police spokesperson, his bodyguard and driver at Kulambiro in Nakawa Division Kampala city.

MP Nambooze Narrates Why Former Legislator Kasibante Is Fighting Bobi Wine…

    Published

    on

Mukono Municipality legislator Betty Nambooze Bakireke (L) and former Lubaga North MP Moses Kasibante (R)

Controversial Mukono Municipality legislator Betty Nambooze Bakireke has revealed secrets why her political comrade and also former Lubaga North Member of Parliament Moses Kasibante is fighting Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) and the entire National Unity Platform (NUP) party.

“When Bobi Wine replaced Matthias Mpuuga with Joel Ssenyonyi, I saw that person (Kasibante) you know I made a decision not to mention his name, but anyway, he came out strongly attacking and abusing Bobi Wine. When the issue of the Shs500m Service award against Mpuuga came up and Bobi Wine suspended him, Kasibante came out and he was seen moving from one media house to another abusing Bobi Wine while defending Mpuuga. I was not surprised recently when he came out abusing Bobi Wine and Ssenyonyi over the decision to stop NUP and opposition MPs from attending the regional parliamentary sittings,” Nambooze said.

Nambooze wondered why Kasibante who was defeated by NUP’s Abubaker Kawalya in the 2021 parliamentary elections always comes out to make inciting comments on social, economic and political issues when the issue is about Bobi Wine or NUP.

She warned Kasibante to stop misleading the public by presenting himself as a NUP member because he decided to contest against the NUP flag bearer in the 2021 parliamentary elections after losing the NUP ticket.

He also asked him not waste his time masquerading as a NUP member but instead use this remaining time to the 2026 elections to look for another political party.

Nambooze disclosed that Kasibante, like his political friend Samuel Lubega Mukaku were disappointed when NUP denied them party tickets in 2021 and since then, they think that Bobi Wine influenced their demise that is why they declared a war against him and the party.

Since Kasibante protested Nambooze’s bill which was aimed at regulating drinking of alcohol on the 10th parliament, they stopped being at good talking terms after Nambooze declared Kasibante a drunkard.

Before falling out, both Nambooze and Kasibante had a long history of working together right from their days as panelists at Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi’s CBS radio. They were members of the Democratic Party (DP) and later SUUBI, a political pressure group from DP.
