Leave Gospel Music, Start Singing ‘Bimansulo’ Songs – Tamale Mirundi Blasts Judith Babirye

President Museveni’s adviser on media Joseph Tamale Mirundi has advised female gospel musician Judith Babirye who also doubles as Buikwe woman MP to stop singing gospel songs and start singing ‘bimansulo’ songs.

On Sunday, Judith Babirye historically introduced and wedded (on the same day) fellow Buikwe legislator Paul Musoke Sebulime at Las Vegas Hotel in Ggaba a Kampala surburb. Immediately after the introduction ceremony, Liberty worship centre pastor Imelda Namutebi helped the couple tie the knot a few hours later.

Babirye decided to wed Sebulime before divorcing former husband Samuel Niiwo, this legally means that Babirye goes down in history as the first legislator to be married to two men at the same time.

On Monday, during ‘Okwatibwaako’ talk show hosted by celebrated journalist Stephen Dustan Busulwa on Top Radio, Mirundi blasted Babirye for giving a bad image to the born-again faith.

“Once you go to parliament and pick a woman or man there, you tie yourself on chains. Babirye and her hubby will never come back to parliament.

She should now start singing ‘bimansulo’ because she no longer has the moral authority to sing gospel music,” Murindi said.

Mirundi added that Babirye knew that she would be humiliated once she asks for divorce, that is why she decided not to take that path.

“Judith Babirye knew that she was going to be humiliated once she asks for divorce. She hired a hotel and introduced from there…. You cannot now say that she is adulterous because she is married,” he added.

Mirundi joins the long list of prominent people who have come out boldly to condemn Babirye’s act. Mukono Municipality legislator Betty Nambooze who is currently in India for a spine operation wrote, “By the time you put a Kwanjula in a hotel far from your parents’ home, then that is self indictment.

Although I am not disapproving of this relationship (love and marriage are personal issues) I am of the view that the two lover birds were a bit reckless and didn’t put in enough homework before they went for their marriage ceremony.”

Nambooze advised Sebulime’s former wife with whom he sired four kids including twins to cool down.

“After Babirye and Musoke pulled off a “secret kwanjula”, my advice to Nnalongo is to cool down for Babirye hooked herself legally into a relationship with Musoke. Drop bitterness and wish them a prosperous and happy marriage. If you take on this with a positive mind one day you will look back and laugh at Ssalongo and Babirye.

Nnalongo, this has nothing to do with you…the fault is not on your side, the person to blame is Musoke who disappointed you and failed to respect and value your love.

I don’t even buy into the argument that Babirye ‘stole your man’ …are men commodities to be stolen? Just know that Musoke gave his heart therefore his love to another woman and the woman took it on smartly and brought him to his knees to propose.”

Nanbooze later advised young girls to be careful when walking into relationships.

“I have picked on their story to pass a word of counsel to our young girls. I wish therefore to add that we need to caution our girls not to walk into relationships, agree or even force themselves to live in, because in most case these young ladies end up like carpenters- they build the men and others take over.”

I Want My Husband Dead Or Alive – Barbie Gives Government 48-Hour Ultimatum

Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi, the wife to incarcerated Kyandondo east member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine has given the government a 48-hour ultimatum to produce
her husband dead or alive.

Addressing a joint news conference with family relatives and Bugiri municipality MP Asuman Basaalirwa this morning, The soft spoken Barbie Itungo says that they will announce the next course of action if her Hubby is not released within 48 hours.

“The honorable member of parliament, representative of Kyadondo East, is missing, the latest we have as a family and his wife is a New Vision headline reading; ‘Bobi Wine held in military barracks’. My husband is not and has never been in the military, he has no military experience, does not even know how to use a gun and he can’t even differentiate the different guns out there. I wonder why he is held in a barracks, what has he done to deserve this?” Barbie said.

Kyagulanyi’s elder brother Eddie Yawe also added that Bobi’s family needs to know his where abouts since some reports indicate that he is being held at Pondo barracks in Arua while other media reports show that he is at Bombo barracks.

Kyagulanyi is among the four MPs arrested on Monday over chaos that ensued on the last day of the campaigns for Arua Municipality that left his driver Kawuma Yasin dead. Other MP’s in custody are Francis Zaake, Gerald Karuhanga and Paul Mwiru.

I’m Willing To Denounce My Muslim Faith And Become A ‘Mulokole’ Just To Marry You: Spark TV’s Zahara Toto Pleads With Pastor Bugembe

Pastor Wilson Bugembe of the Nansana based Worship House Church yesterday put up a mega birthday party and celebrated with his followers and friends for clocking 34 years.

While various artistes were performing for the congregation, the MC (a member from Bugembe’s church) called Spark TV’s Zahara Toto on stage to greet her fans. During her address, the mother of one concentrated on asking pastor Wilson Bugembe for marriage since both of them are single and searching.

“Pastor has made 34 years today, he has never shown us  his wife or girlfriend, the good thing is I’m here single and searching and I’m ready to go with him if at all he accepts. I will change from being a Muslim to a born again as he wishes,” Zahara pleaded.

The birthday party was attended by over 3000 people and pastor Wilson Bugembe gave back to his followers and the needy. The youthful pastor gave out food stuffs, drinks, Mattresses, clothes among other things.

There was also a health camp where people were tested for various disease and given free treatment, others donated blood. Speaking to his followers, Pastor Wilson Bugembe almost shed tears when he narrated his journey from the streets as a street kid to where God has put him today .

“I started from zero, I remember I only began this church with only nine people under a mango tree, but now look at all of you people. This is what we call a blessing and am really blessed, I thank God for making 34 years today but it pains a lot that my parents are not here to see what I have become today and celebrate with me. My mummy died at 26 years and my daddy also died in his twenties. I have to celebrate them and pray for them to rest in peace,” Bugembe narrated.

Bugembe warned his followers to avoid churches that sell them trees, water, rings and oil because they are led by fake pastors and what they are doing is not written anywhere in the Bible.

When the Grapevine took him on the side for a chat concerning Zahara’s proposal, he told us that he is still single and contented but patiently waiting for the right time and the right person. He told us that he is not in a hurry even though many people are asking him to quickly get a companion.
