The other two Obote’s sons Eddie Engena Maitum and Tony Akaki are unhappy that Akena and his wife Betty Among are monopolizing all the money without giving them anything. Akena is also politically enjoying all the benefits got from the Obote name in Lango without allowing his brothers to benefit also by shining politically.

When Apac municipality was created, Engena, who is also a pastor in Kenya came home and demanded to stand there on the UPC ticket but Akena blocked him and gave the UPC flag to someone else. Engena went ahead and stood as an independent against Akena’s candidate but lost.

He has been grassing since that time and one afternoon recently, he stormed his mother’s house in Kololo where he demanded to know why he should live in poverty when his father was a very rich man and former President of Uganda. Akena was there, he confronted him and the two exchanged blows until Miria their mother separated them.

Engena accused Miria of favoring Akena even when he mistreats them by denying them benefits of being Obote’s sons. A tearful Engena cursed Akena and assured Miria he will never come back again. Bishop Engena became so much annoyed that even when his Kenyan wife died recently, he grieved alone without involving Akena and other family members.

The miserable Bishop buried his wife in Luwero where he bought land and says he isn’t interested in the Oyima clan things anymore because Akena has monopolized everything back home in Akokoro.

President Museveni (L) and musician A Pass

Vocal musical artiste, A Pass, real names Alexander Bagonza has lashed out at supporters of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) for counting on the promises of the party presidential candidate Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni.

“NRM supporters are so funny, so you are trending a Hashtag Securing Your Future when most of you have failed to secure your future and the leaders you have only secure their future year in year out,” A Pass mockingly stated.

“I remember your leader saying he is working for himself and his grandchildren and I am very sure you are not part of the family,” he added, noting however that nevertheless, he still respects NRM supporters because he believes in respecting the boundaries of individuality.

“This mess you are in is Group Brainwash. I advise you to keep your slogan because NRM has no practical policies to remove Ugandans from poverty,” the artiste empasized.

“We would love to see progressive action taken to get the majority of Ugandan out of poverty so that they have some dignity out of a fair wage to have a fair living hood but we have so many self-serving individuals in high places.”

A Pass is one of the several entertainers that have publicly pledged their allegiance with Bobi Wine. He often says that the NUP leader stands for what he believes in

He, on behalf of other Bobi Wine supporters said that they fight because they are hungry for the truth, but the leaders disappointingly instigate and abuse when they ought to diffuse.

Just a few days back, A Pass, came out with any kind words, and went all guns out on anyone who applauded Police’s use of excessive force in arresting Bobi Wine and dispersing the protesting crowds earlier on this week.
