Michael Ross Is Uganda’s Ginuwine, Usher And Michael Jackson – Musician Mourice Kirya Defends Michael Ross Over Stage Saga

Published

on

Musician Maurice Kirya has come out and defended his fellow musician and friend Micheal Ross, saying he deserved to be on Ginuwine’s stage because he is Uganda’s treasure, icon, legend and music star.

Through his social media platforms, Maurice Kirya says Micheal is very talented and he is Uganda’s Ginuwine, Usher and Michael Jackson.

“Just got off the phone with my brother Myko Ross, just to check on him!

when I was younger, Myko and I would meet at my mother’s house and practice dancing, I wasted so much time before I realised my dancing sucked, but Myko?… he had the gift, he emulated Ginuwine to the dot and would even un-button his shirt to reveal his skinny chest and six packs to screaming adoring fans, he was our own Ginuwine, our own usher, our Michael Jackson!!

He dwelled into the world of dance un-apologetically , we embraced him, we got so close to him before he realised he let us get too close too him!

About the Ginuwine show, I totally understand what it meant to Myko to jump on stage, even though I performed on that stage,…Myko deserved that stage better than anyone else!

Deep down inside i know that Myko is our treasure, an icon, a legend, a star that tells out very own Ugandan story of resilience, I praise him now, because its on days like this when he needs his true friends, and true fans! Michael Ross Forever, ” Maurice Kirya posted.

Published

on

Quiin Abenakyo has been crowned Miss World Africa in this years’ Miss world finale that took place in sanya. China.

Quinn is the first Miss Uganda to make it to the top 5 finalists after her idea about fighting Juvenile pregnancies got her votes.

The 68th Miss World title went to Mexico’s Vanessa Ponce de Leon with Thailand’s Nicolene Pichapa Limsnukan as first runner up.

Belarus’ Maria Vasilevich Belarus is the second runner up with Jamaica’s Kadija Robinson in fourth place while Quiin is in position number five.

A computer science student, the 22-year-old Abenakyo, hails from Mayuge District in Eastern Uganda. Abenakyo was born premature, at seven months, and had to be in an incubator.

“My mother told me that I was a very tiny little baby, and when I miraculously survived the ordeal, she named me Quinn (from the title Queen). To her, I was a very special child,” she said.

As Abenakyo grew up, the name in some way influenced her actions.

“I did not want to soil my name with bad actions,” she added.

So, most of the time, Abenakyo tried to be disciplined and obedient. She believes that the name has also shaped her destiny as seen from her recent Miss Uganda win.
