Museveni Is Drunk With Power And The People Around Him Are Deceiving Him That He Is A God – Bobi Wine

Published

on

Kyadondo East legislator and Leader of the People Power Movement Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has launche another scathing attack at president Museveni.

In an interview with Citizen TV’s Jeff Koinange last evening, Bobi Wine told president Museveni that he has been hoodwinked by people around him who have made him think that he is the alpha and omega or a ‘god of sorts’ and has ignored the problems of Ugandans.

The Kyadondo East Legislator described the President Museveni as a person drunk with power and those around him have convinced him to feel that way through the empty praises they shower him.

He further claimed that Mr. Museveni had done worse things than the former dictator Idi Amin Dada who was accused of killing many Ugandans during his 9-year rule.

According to Bobi Wine, institutions and leadership in Uganda are failing because the people around the president are his relatives and tribesmen.

“It has been said before that power corrupts, absolutely, I believe he is drunk with power. He has been convinced by those around him that he is a god of sorts,” Kyagulanyi said.

When asked what kind of advice he would give him, Bobi asked President Museveni to be true to his words and his people. “Mr Museveni before becoming president said the problem with Uganda and Africa in general is leaders who over stay in power. He has overstayed and doesn’t want to leave,” Kyagulanyi said.

On the chaos in Arua that happened on the 13th September, Kyagulanyi said that even though he has recently come out publicly to protest against Museveni, he is aware that those who have tried that before have suffered their own share of brutality. The lawmaker expressed confidence that the situation would change since Museveni will not remain in power forever. “Freedom comes to those who fight, not those who cry. The more you cry, the more your people continue to die. So, rise (up) and defend your rights,” reiterated Mr Kyagulanyi.

Bobi Wine Is Surrounded By Money Minded People Including His Relatives Who Are Eying To Sell Him To M7 – Tamale Mirundi

Self-claimed media consultant Joseph Tamale Mirundi has shockingly revealed that Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Alias Bobi Wine is surrounded by money minded people who are Eying to sell him to President M7.

While appearing on ABS TV, the presidential adviser on media warned that Bobi Wine should be careful because his handlers are seriously putting him in the right line to be sold.   In the wake of the recent attacks by People Power members on Kampala central Member of Parliament Muhammad Nsereko, Mirundi says that Nsereko is a political threat to Bobi Wine, that is why he is facing a barrage of attacks from People Power members.

“We are observing Bobi Wine with an open eye; let him blink for only one minute, Nsereko will take him over. My son Nsereko is good at political calculations and he is a political threat to Bobi Wine that’s why they are now using political failures to attack him,” Mirundi stated. The flamboyant veteran journalist revealed that Bobi Wine and Nsereko are in the same age group and they all have the potential  ability to take over the youth because right now, whoever controls the youth will put president Museveni and NRM government on the hook.

He said that Nsereko is a very determined politician who sensitively calculates his political moves. He gave an example that during the NRM caucus for NRM members of parliament to consider which person will stand for deputy speaker, Museveni ordered Nsereko to go with Jacob Oulanyah, who the majority NRM members had chosen.  Mirundi said that Nsereko stood his ground and told Museveni openly that he was going to challenge Oulanya in the elections.

Mirundi said that the furious Museveni ordered Nsereko to move out of his house. A bold Nsereko without fear moved out of State House and he competed for deputy speakership but was defeated by Oulanya. Mirundi said that such political courage shown by Nsereko shows that he is a very big threat to Bobi Wine and it’s the reason why nowadays members of people power are allegedly using social media to malign him.

He revealed that it was the Nsereko factor that forced Bobi to distance himself from FDC strongman Kizza Besigye, Kampala City Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago and Mukono Municipality legislator Betty Nambooze. He said that Nambooze wanted to use Bobi Wine has a factor to get facilitators from outside countries. He boosted that he was the one who used his radio and Televisions political shows to blast Bobi until he left Besigye group.

IPOD Is A Complete Joke, You Cannot Have Your Foot On My Neck And Then Say To Me, ‘Lets Talk!’ – Bobi Wine Tells M7

Published

Kyadondo East Member of parliament, Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has said that Inter Party  Organization for Dialogue (IPOD) is a complete joke and a desperate attempt by Museveni.

The dialogue which was held yesterday at Protea Hotel in Entebbe with its chairman Hon Nobert Mao who is also the president of the Democratic Party (DP). Among the members who attended the meeting was the National Resistance Movement (NRM) chairman president Museveni.

“The dialogue under the Inter-Party Organization for Dialogue (IPOD) is a complete joke. It is a desperate attempt by Museveni and his regime to sanitise the impunity that he presides over in this country,” he said.

The people power revolution leader has encouraged his colleagues not to fall in Mr. Museveni’s tricks,” I encourage all friendly pro-change forces not to fall for this trick! How can we share a platform with a man who has the blood of our people on his hands and is not ready to admit and denounce it?”

He said that if they want to have dialogue with Mr. Museveni, he should first see them as Ugandans not as mere pawns on his chessboard.

“We have never been opposed to dialogue, but our stand has been and remains that it is only free people who can dialogue- PERIOD. If I am dialoguing with President Museveni, he must first of all see me as a citizen of Uganda with my full rights, and not as a slave or a mere pawn on his chessboard! You cannot have your foot on my neck and then say to me, – ‘let’s talk!'” he added.

Kyagulanyi added, “Citizens’ rights must first be respected and upheld. I say this well knowing that these rights are not a favor from any government- they are inherent!! Secondly, the people of Uganda are the true stakeholders and shareholders of this country. All leaders must never forget that. I always tell my friends that the PEOPLE ARE OUR FIRST AND LAST RESORT. Any dialogue that is worth its name must involve them and listen to them.”

The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) who are also members of the IPOD boycotted the meeting citing brutality and harsh treatment from the police, army and other security agencies.

You Have Been Eating IPOD Money Stop Pretending – DP’s Mukaku Tells FDC: M7 To Increase Political Parties’ Funding From 10 Billion To 35 Billion

Published

on

President Museveni’s government is set to increase funding for the Inter Party Organization for Dialogue (IPOD) from Shs10 billion to Shs35 billion according to Democratic Party’s (DP), Samuel Walter Lubega Mukaku.

While addressing the press at the party’s head office at City House today, Mukaku bragged that increasing IPOD funding is one of the biggest achievements they (DP) have achieved while chairing IPOD. He said that this new funding will also include all politicians even those who are independent like Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, who is also the leader of People power movement.

“Under the leadership of chairman Mao, we have fought to increase the funding of not only DP but all political parties which has been at Shs10 billion to 35 billion in the year 2019/2020,” Mukaku said.

He wondered that their colleagues have been eating this money but surprisingly today they are playing games claiming that they can’t be part of IPOD.

“Sitting with the enemy who has been adamant to agree with you and convincing him to finally accept to help your people and add a stone on the struggle after such a long time is a big success to us.

Under the agenda, we wanted to make sure that we amend the Public Order Management Act (POMA) regulations and so far, we have already sat the Prime Minister and Museveni down. DP is responsible for even those candidates who don’t have representation in parliament and can’t sit at the IPOD and our own rights are respected and granted. POMA is already adapting to the regulations that we proposed,”he said.

He added, “At IPOD, there is summit and council of Secretary General where the president with representations in parliament meet. FDC is tried to trivialise, comment and post funny pictures of our president that he looked idle while waiting for Museveni at his house when the truth was he was at Protea Hotel .

President Museveni delayed but the National Resistance Movement (NRM) gave an explanation to IPOD chairman who accepted it in good faith.”

He encouraged all politicians to join General Muntu during the launching of the alliance for national transformation (ANT).
