    PASTOR YIGA’S SHOCKING STORY: How He Died Homeless And Penniless After Being Defrauded By Close Friends, Was Choking On Huge Debts…

    By the time famous pastor, Augustine Yiga was confirmed dead by his own ABS TV, succumbing to kidney related complications and intestinal ulcers, he has also been suffering from extreme depression.

    Yiga’s soft heart and tolerance supposedly led him into trouble, he was let down by friends he trusted so much.

    The source close to Yiga told theGrapevine that Yiga’s woes deepened when a projected big pastoral mission in S. Africa failed, after he was defrauded by a close friend.

    Since that failed pastoral mission, Pastor Yiga has since been choking on big debts he took before going to S. Africa, to complete a failed deal. A close friend to Yiga told theGrapevine that Yiga came back from South Africa a penniless man, it was the famous herbalist Kojja Kimbowa who even had to send him money to help him return home.

    Upon his return to Uganda, Yiga was leveled down to ground zero, and had to start afresh.

    He started trading off his property selling off his property to pay his debtors and sustain his livelihood which had then deteriorated.

    Pastor Yiga in the rejuvenation process saw himself lose 3 of his plots of land in Busega, Wakaliga and Kyengera, all confiscated by his borrowers as self-payment for the huge loans he took.

    He added, “Yiga had a softer spot for women in his heart. Good looking women who looked appealing to him easily got employment at his ABS TV and Kawaala Revival church.”

    Yiga had before being taken to hospital been sleeping at his church, without any of his known spouses, other than his baby Mama’s who had been paying him visits at the church premises.

    Where there was controversy, Yiga’s name somehow appeared, there’s an incident where blood sisters accussed Yiga of trying to lure them into sexual acts without their consent at a lodge in Kyengera. The girls even produced picture evidence of a naked Yiga drinking beer in the said lodge.

    Most recently, he was in prison for a couple of weeks for making statements that the state deemed reckless and endangering to the citizens of the country when he noted that Coronavirus doesn’t exist. That’s also linked to have worsened his already deteriorating health. He was reportedly subjected to a single improper meal in prison, unlike at home where he was taken good care of.

    Pastor Yiga’s side chick, only recognised as Maama Afuswa had just weeks back intimated that the preacher would not sustain his life any longer.

    She also asserted before that if the pastor passed on now, his property would be swept away in less than 2 months.

    Maama Hafswa stressed that in Jengo’s hands, Pr. Yiga’s projects are at stake. She referred to him as too proud and arrogant to manage aspects as big as his father’s.

    “I don’t think Jengo even cares what happens next, he is so proud he couldn’t even share a mere phone contact with me, my efforts to reach out to him have been deemed futile because he never picks even when you extend efforts to call. Who does he think he is? When even his father picks calls, but the son instead keeps referring me to another person,” she furiously stated.

    “He is a fraud like the people he associates with other,” she stated, referring to  Kojja Kimbowa, a prominent herbalist who has shares in ABS TV. It was at one time reported that Kimbowa attempted to fully take over the TV in Pr. Yiga’s absence, away on a trip to S.Africa.

    Maama Afuswa suspects that Jengo might be in a fishy partnership with Kojja Kimbowa to fraudulently trade ABS TV behind Pr. Yiga’s back. She further insinuates that his wailing health condition and eventual death could only be advantageous to them.

    The humorous man of God has finally breathed his last after being pronounced dead twice before.

    Some 3 years back, Pastor Yiga was mysteriously announced dead as he had relocated to South Africa, only for him to personally come out a few days later, to testify that he’s alive.

    Pastor Yiga breathed his last last night after being very ill, and in a very worrying condition for the past three weeks. It’s his son, Jengo who has since been running the ABS TV in absence of his father with the help of Kojja Kimbowa.

    Family and close associates have disclosed that Pastor Yiga by the time of his death was very weak, he could neither eat nor talk.

    Pr. Yiga ironically took the Media by storm, and has been since rocking the entertainment industry as well, but he has currently because of his wailing health been reduced to infancy stage where he couldn’t apparently do anything for himself, until he finally lost his life.

    Pr. Yiga is famed for complementing his pastoral role with his great sense of humor, as evidenced in his typically comic sermons and statements that have often landed him in trouble.

    Fameica, who was once involved in a rocky love relationship with Sheila Gashumba admitted that Lydia Jazmine is his “freshest baby”.

    Jazmine has been rumored to be in a secret relationship with the “Buligita” singer, but it has now turned public after she confessed her love for the gangster rapper on his birthday.

    The “king” and his “freshest baby” have continued to prove to the “it will end in tears” brigade that yes, it might end in tears, but tears of joy on their wedding day when they exchange vows to live together forever.

    The “Omalawo” songstress is so deep in love with the “Kutama” singer she doesn’t even care if he hangs out with other women.

    Lydia Jazmine recently revealed that she doesn’t at all feel irritated by Fameica’s closeness to new dance party queen mistress Etania Mutoni who featured in his new Buligita hit song.

    Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) president Wyclife Tugume alias Ykee Benda has blasted social media critics for continuously poking their noses in his personal affairs.

    Ykee Benda has told off all self entitled activists pressuring him to use his office to claim for the immediate release of his fellow singer, Nubian Li.

    Nubian Li was arrested on Bobi Wine’s campaign trail in Kalanga and was yesterday charged together with others in the military court martial for being found in possession of ammunitions.

    Ykee Benda turned bitter and asked all those prompting him to take quick action to do the same of they really care. Other than making noise on the internet, he asked them to go to Police where he’s Remanded and demand for his release.

    “You know Nubian Li is with Police but ur on my twitter shouting like it’s me giving out bails! You yourself can’t do anything about it apart from tweeting like he is locked somewhere on twitter. Bomboclat!” Ykee Benda tweeted.

    “Now get this in your heads and understand it. To mind my business doesn’t mean I don’t have what to say.

    I care for what I care for when I care for it. I am a simple guy  but if for one second you think we came from the same womb. You will be reminded,” the singer added.

    Controversial singer and also president Yoweri Museveni’s apologist Ronald Mayinja is in more trouble for stealing phone from journalist.

    On Thursday, Observer news paper female journalist Yudaya Nangonzi opened up a theft case at Salama road police station against Mayinja via case reference number SD;REF 29/7/1/2021.

    According to Nangonzi, Mayinja stole her mobile phone when she had gone for an interview at his home in Munyonyo a Kampala suburb.

    “Friends and family, kindly ignore any calls and WhatsApp messages that will come through my usual MTN and Airtel lines for now until further notice. My phone has been confiscated by Musician Ronald Mayinja,” Nangonze stated.

    When contacted, Charles Twine the CID spokesperson revealed that investigations into the matter have commenced and the file was transferred to Katwe Regional police station for special treatment.

    He said that on Saturday morning, Mayinja honoured police summons and appeared before police detectives at Katwe police station and recorded a statement.

    Twine described Mayinja’s actions by law as; “Any person who without a claim of right takes someone’s property knowing that it’s not his or herd and with an intention of permanently depriving that person of their property.”

    He explained that police is also investigating scenarios where Mayinja is accused of breaking Nangonzi’s mobile phone into pieces and if it’s true he will face other charges related to malicious damage.

    Twine said however that there is still room for negotiation between both parties because Mayinja is willing to compensate Nangonzi with another phone. However, Nangonzi threatened to reveal Mayinja’s dirty secrets if he does not stop blackmailing her and soiling her name.

    “Mr Ronald Mayinja, I painfully come out to inform you that you can say everything but avoid spreading falsehoods about me. I have a clean record of professionalism. If you are telling the truth, go ahead and respect police summons before I grant interviews to fellow journalists and narrate what happened. You’re soiling my name as you go ahead to call me and ask for forgiveness,” she said.

    “I have a family and name to protect. Just know, this will end in tears on your part in addition to paying my medical bills; you are aware of my vulnerable situation. I need my phone, lines, and SD card,” she threatened.

    When contacted on the phone, Mayinja declined to comment on the matter saying that he was advised by police detectives to keep quiet.
