RADIO VIGIL: Gashumba Blast M7 Over Food He Offered To Mourners

    Published

    on

During Radio’s vigil at his Nevaland home, many speakers were given a chances to eulogise him.

One of those was motor-mouthed government critic Frank Gashumba, and like you know him, he is a man of many tough, funny but bitter words, especially when it comes to government.

When Gashumba picked the microphone, he started by praising Radio as one of those artistes with good talent in Uganda.

Gashumba then turned into his true self when he attacked promoter Balaam. Balam had earlier told the media that president Museveni had contributed 20 million shillings towards the burial arrangements and that he had promised to feed the mourners for three days. Gashumba asked Balaam stop praising Museveni because if he was a great president, he would have built several hospitals and Radio could not be moved from Entebbe where he was beaten from to Kampala in search for a good hospital.

He again moved on to attack the government by asking for the reports on the death of other fallen musicians like AK47 and Danz Kumapeesa who died in similar circumstances like Radio.

“You should ask for security to protect our lives not praising Museveni for having contributed to the burial arrangements” Gashumba blasted Balaam.

“Tell your Museveni that we do not want food, we want security and want to know who is killing our artistes,” Frank Gashumba fumed.

Gashumba warned Balaam to learn from Radio’s killing, and caution artistes to stay alert and protect the industry from losing good talented musicians.

At the same vigil, different musicians were given a chance to eulogise Radio and this is what they said:

    RONALD MAYINJA
We are very disappointed by security operatives. We are fade up with the phrase ‘we are investigating’, which police tells us every time we lose a fellow musician. We are going to start thinking that such murders are planned. What police has to do is to search and charge whom they call the suspect, if not, we shall sort matters ourselves as musicians.

    SEMAKULA MESACH
We need the suspect who killed Radio charges, police should stop fooling us with the reports. Radio’s death has shocked many of us in the music profession. We need to seat and find a solution, if need be, we should hire special mercenaries to give us protection because it seems there is a group that is well trained to kill Ugandans the Way Radio was killed.

    BOBI WINE.
The question is, why are musicians dying in the same way? First it was AK, Dans Kumapeesa and now Radio, all hit on the head.  It seems these are organized criminals and we need a clear report from the security agencies. We are planning to write to the head of state on the matter. We are not ready to lose any other musician in this way.

     DJ MICHEAL.
This is too much, we can’t be killed like pigs, being hit on the head with no mercy. We are still planning on what to do next as musicians because this seems serious than expected, but the government is just looking with no clear move to stop the assassins.

    PALLASO
Police has always said its nonsense of ‘we are investigating’ with no positive results. To me this is a statement designed to fool us.  My brother (AK 47) was killed in the same way, but until now, no clear report has been presented in the matter.

    CHAMELEONE
There seems to be an organized group which is killing us. No musician can move alone in any club, the statement they are producing is forged.

We are also investigating, if police can’t then we shall do it and present our findings because we have the ability.

Property Dealer Kamoga Survives Prison Over Fraudulent Multi Billion Land Deals…

    Published

    on

Muhammad Kamoga the proprietor of Kamoga Property Consultants

Muhammad Kamoga the proprietor of Kamoga Property Consultants situated along Entebbe Road has been charged before Entebbe Chief Magistrate Court and released on bail on the allegation of masterminding fraudulent multibillion land deals.

According to the State, Kamoga was accused of fraudulently acquiring a prime piece of land measuring 200 acres in two villages in Katabi Town Council near Entebbe Municipality in Wakiso District.

Before his arrest, State through the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, George William Byansi had directed Maj. Dr. Tom Magambo the Director of Police Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID)  to arrest Kamoga and present him before the Chief Magistrates Court at Entebbe.

According to the charge sheet, Kamoga is facing charges of forgery, uttering a false document and obtaining registration by false pretense.

It is alleged that on May 7, 2021 at Wakiso Lands office, Mr. Kamoga with intent to deceive forged a transfer form dated May 7 in respect to land on block 435 plot 8 purporting to have bought it from Bibangamba Peter which was false.

State contends that Kamoga also forged a transfer form dated February 8, 2021 in respect to land on Block 435 in regard to 105 plots.

The land broker is also accused of uttering a false document where it is alleged that he submitted the said forged documents to the Registrar of titles purporting it to be signed by Bibangamba whereas not.

According to the state, Kamoga willfully procured for himself registration of disputed land under the registration of titles Act by falsely pretending that the same was transferred to him by Bibangamba.

The charges result from complaints regarding four plots on land on Block 435 at Bukaaya Village in Katabi Town Council, Entebbe.

Bibangamba is accusing Kamoga of subdividing his land into more than 100 plots and transferring them into his names and later on selling them off without his consent.

“Charges of GEF 308/22 and CRB 556/2022 should be prepared as guided above and forwarded to Resident State Attorney (RSA) Entebbe for further action,” reads the document received at the CID on September 4.

According to the complaint, in 2021, Bibangamba engaged Kamoga to recover his land from occupants who had become a big problem to him.

It is alleged Bibangmba and Kamoga signed a Memorandum of Understanding accompanied by powers of attorney to enable the latter to execute the assignment.

It is alleged that Kamoga held meetings with squatters, opened boundaries of the land and negotiated with some of them and even took one of them, J.P Cuttings to Bibangamba and sale was concluded.

“However, thereafter Kamoga proceeded and subdivided the entire land into several small plots and transferred most of them into his own names and then sold them  without the knowledge or consent of the complainant or the affected occupants”  Bibangamba states.

Efforts to get Kamoga were futile as his known telephone number was switched off.

Joseph Tamale Mirundi Junior, the controversial son to maverick senior presidential advisor on media Joseph Tamale Mirundi is in tears after his family sought for a Court Order to remove the family from him because of shaming them.

Mirundi senior revealed that last week, he summoned his family for a meeting at his Zana home along Entebbe road to discuss what to do for his son who is disgracing the family.

He added that among the family members that attended the meeting included; his soft spoken son John Mirundi, a lawyer practicing with the Parliament of Uganda, Winnie Mirundi, Dr. Tamale Mirundi and all his wives and children.

He explained that before the final discussion is taken, as a chairperson of the meeting, he gave all the members time to discuss the matter after providing tangible evidence including a recorded audio and video when his son Junior was declaring himself chairperson of young of men who get married to old women for money.

Mirundi said that his elder sons turned furious when they saw their younger brother Mirundi Junior advising fellow youths in the group to be very carefully when handling old women and to do whatever they tell them to do including; washing their knickers, massaging their private parts, exercises every time and taking man power so as to satisfy them in the bed.

Mirundi said that in the meeting, there was fear that very soon, Junior might declare himself a homo because they (homos) have money and are ready to give it to anyone who does their will.

Before a final decision was taken to remove their family name from Juniour, Mirundi senior took the family through the great history of the Mirundi name which they inherited from their grandfather Yowana Mirundi of Rakai district.

Mirundi said that Yowana Mirundi was a brave man, a fighter who fought in the Second World War and was among the awarded ex-servicemen in Uganda.

He concluded by fronting a proposal which was passed to remove the Mirundi name from Junior to teach a lesson to other young members of the family to be very careful with his father’s name.

After the name Mirundi removed from Tamale Junior, he was renamed Tamale Sekima Junior and a resolution was taken directing John Mirundi, the lawyer son to kick off the process of getting a Court declaration removing Mirundi name from all Tamale Junior’s documents including the National Identity Card and academic papers.

Mirundi noted that in the meeting, he assured Junior’s mother that removing his family name from his son doesn’t mean that he has disowned him.

He told her that Junior is still his son and he loves him but what the meeting did was in the interest of protecting their family.

He noted that he has been too patient with his son during his ventures with old women.

He gave the scenario when he desired to sleep with celebrated singer Sheebah Kalungi, then Don Zella, then Tasha Namale who battered him and others who give him money.

Tearful Mirundi Narrates How He Sat With M7 To Write Apology To Calm Down First Lady Janet Over Mwenda’s Fabricated Recorded Tapes…

    Published

    on

President Museveni (R) and his adviser Jospeh Tamale Mirundi (L)

Former State House Spokesperson Joseph Tamale Mirundi broke down in tears while narrating how President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni saved him from the First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni over fabricated recorded tapes.

Mirundi, the Senior presidential advisor on media revealed that in 2015, when he developed a misunderstanding with State House staff who included; Lt. Col. Edith Nakalema, Lt. Gen. Proscovia Nalweyiso and some members of the first family, he decided to stop reporting to Okello House where his office was.

Mirundi narrated that while at his home, he received a phone call from State House informing him that the President wanted to see him immediately.

While he was still preparing himself, military vehicles sealed off his gate under the command of Maj. Gen. Stephen Sabiiti Muzeeyi, the former Deputy Inspector General of Police who told him that the President directed him to take him to State House.

Sabiiti gave Mirundi time to take a bath and dress up in his good suits and after drove him straight to Entebbe State House.

He was ordered to enter the room where he found veteran journalist Andrew Mwenda, Lt. Col. Nakalema, Lt. Gen. Nalweyiso and other people.

Hours passed without each talking to the other until the president entered the room.

“Mirundi, are you in your normal understanding, I am told you have run mad, and you are always drunk,” Mirundi quoted a furious Museveni.

While he was still denying the allegations, Mwenda started pinning him.

Mwenda told the meeting that Mirundi is an abusive person and is placing State House and the President in bad light.

Mwenda asked the president to grant them permission to play recorded tapes when Mirundi is abusing him, his wife, first family members and other government officials.

While listening to the recorded tapes, Mirundi narrated that Museveni closed his eyes while listening to Mirundi’s voice abusing him, his wife with strong words including using words like ‘stupid’.

“When I looked at Museveni and saw him closing his eyes, I saw his face change. I realised that I’m going to be killed or imprisoned for all my entire life,” Mirundi stated.

He added that when the tapes were done, Museveni asked Mirundi whether the voices on the tape are his, which he accepted but pleaded to the President explaining that the voices on the tapes were fabricated.

The president again ordered the tapes to be played again and at the end asked Mwenda why the voices of the moderator of the talk shows which Mirundi used to abuse him and wife were not on the tape.

“The President told me that he used to listen to my programs and moderators guided me. That is why he was asking, why I was alone in the tapes this time.”

As Mirundi was defending himself, Lt. Gen. Nalweyiso raised his hand and told the president that Mirundi not only abused him but he also abuses religious leaders and cultural leaders like Ronald Muwenda Mutebi the Kabaka of Buganda.

“I was humiliated to the bone marrow. Museveni told me that; ‘Mirundi you are gone, and squirrels have eaten you, even though you thought that you are a huge snake’,” Mirundi narrated.

Mirundi recounted that Museveni asked him who he is in State House. Before he answered, he asked him whether he knows how to write and Mirundi responded to him that he knows that’s why he appointed him his press secretary.

He then told him that he has been fired from his job as senior press secretary but he gave him the opportunity to recommend the person to replace him. That is how he recommended his deputy Linda Nabusaayi.

Museveni then ordered Mwenda and his group to move out of the room. Museveni then told Mirundi that the First Lady was very bitter with him.

He immediately got a plain paper and asked him to draw close. He then asked him to write an apology letter to the First Lady in his hand writing.

“We drafted the apology letter together while he was guiding me on which words to use,” Mirundi said.

Mirundi added that after agreeing on the final letter, Museveni told him to wait for him so that he takes the apology letter to the First Lady.

Mirundi related that Museveni spent an hour before coming back with the good news that the First Lady had forgiven him.

However, the President told him that he had to plead with the First Lady to accept his apology and the condition was that he had to take it for publication in the next day’s New Vision which Mirundi accepted.

Unfortunately, Robert Kabushenga, the then Chief Executive Officer at the New Vision refused to publish the apology letter.

He added that the next day, he received a phone call from the president asking him why the apology was not in the papers. Mirundi told the President that Kabushenga had refused to publish it.

The President comforted him and told him that it was ok he was going to talk to the First Lady.

However, Mirundi confirmed that he has forgiven Mwenda because he was used to fight wars he did not understanding.

He however swore never to forgive Lt. Col. Nakalema and Lt. Gen. Nalweyiso insisting that they frustrated his career as a person and his family suffered when he was fired.
