VIDEO: MUSICIANS GONE TO THE DOGS: City Pastor Paying 2 Million To Musicians To Record Cheating Videos

Published

on

We don’t know whether it’s the lack of creativity or brokenness that is making Ugandan Artistes, actors and comedians stoop so low.

First it was Bryan white, who used them to promote his foundation and after disgracefully fired them.

This website has now been told that some top city pastors have also started paying Ugandan artistes and comedians handsomely to promote their crusades and television programmes on their stations.

One of these pastors is Augustine Yiga of the famous Revival Christian centre and proprietor of ABS TV.

Sources at the Kawaala based tv station have told the Grapevine that pastor Yiga pays between 1 million to 2 million shillings to artistes to act in ABS TV’s news segment ‘Ebifa Munsiko’.

The plot is this artiste has to be caught bonking another woman’s wife in front of ABS TV cameras. Yiga pays the artiste half of the money before the act and when the full story is recorded for telecast, he pays them the balance.

On Monday, Abdu Mulaasi’s wife Fatuma Mulaasi Ssemwogerere spilled the beans. Fatuma was bitter with Ritah Kaggwa for blasting his husband Abdu Mulaasi, who, according to this news segment, was allegedly caught with another man’s wife. Fatuma told Ritah that her husband was paid to appear on ABS’s news segment ‘Ebifa Munsiko’. Fatuma said, “Madam please get a life or a job that will keep you busy instead of idling. We don’t have your time and let me inform you that we aren’t looking for fame like you. Also ask me for tips on how to keep a man because I’ve been with mine from 2007. Before Abdu Mulaasi does anything he first seeks my advice, for your information that was ‘katembe’ (drama), he acted it and I was at the scene with him and the camera crew till the end. And our account smiled that day because he was paid to do it to promote a tv station. So, stop opening your filthy mouth because you will never be on my level fool.”

Fatuma’s Rant

Yiga is not the only pastor using musicians, this website has been told that some of the musicians who have been confessing that they have become born again at Pastor Robert Kayanja’s Rubaga Miracle Centre church are paid handsomely to popularize the daily 77 DOGS prayer and delivery services.

Musicians who have graced Kayanja’s pulpit and even shed tears that they have seen the light include, Jose Chameleone, Cute Kaye, Ronald Mayinja, Amarula family comedians among others.

We are still trying to talk to the two pastors (Yiga and Kayanja) over these allegations.

Andre Refused To Do An HIV Test, I Felt Horrible: Angella Katatumba Speaks Out On Why She Left Troubled Music Producer….

Published

on

Musician Angella Katatumba has for the first time spoken out on why she left music producer daddy Andre.

In a post on his Facebook page, Angella said, “This is in response to all those that have been constantly asking me for interviews regarding my relationship with Andre. For over three months, Andre treated me like a princess. He spent over 20 Million UGX on me. There is nothing he didn’t do or buy for me and he never let me pay for a thing. He introduced me to all his friends, family, relatives and he even took me to his village.”

She adds, “Things got crazy for him in January where he was burdened with a lot of problems. Amongst financial and many others, Andre’s former PA stole his money and his car and to make matters worse, I also left him in January, because, he completely refused to do the HIV test.”

She says, “Trust me, this was not an easy decision and I felt horrible, especially after, Andre poured all the love on earth on me. Despite that, I had to stick to my principles. I decided to keep it professional and focus on promoting our ‘TONELABILA’ song.”

Several upcoming female musicians have pinned Andre for sexually assaulting them.

CORONAVIRUS: Stop Crying That You Have Made Losses, The President Won’t Compensate You – Bebe Cool Warns Musicians Who Are Crying Over The Cancellation Of Their Concerts…

Published

on

Musician Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool has warned Musicians to stop crying over the cancellation of their concerts over coronavirus because they are not the only one affected.

In a post made on his Facebook page, Bebe warned his fellow artistes not to expect any compensation from the president but instead look for better ways of utilizing the 30 days to help their fans.

“To all musicians, comedians, actors and promoters, kindly don’t embarrass the entertainment industry of UGANDA by uttering statements of losses and cancellations of events in a bid to request for compensations/refunds by government or the President, Mutuswaza. So many businesses have been affected all over UGANDA and we as artists are not a special category of people,” Bebe said.

He added, “I took three years encouraging you all to work with the ministry of health, to champion different causes but all looked away. Now you say you will not be working for 30 days, yet if you had been ambassadors, you would have some work to do.

Well it might even be more than one month and at this moment I advise you to rush to the ministry of health and officially join the fight against Corona virus.

Here I believe you can be able to impact more positively to our community.”

He said, “It’s a kind request that all entertainers turn their platforms to support and create more awareness about the Corona virus and of course TUBERCULOSIS since they have similar signs and symptoms. Sorry my comrades if i hurt your feelings but sanity is needed here. Full figure has something to say too.”

How Can You Allow Hooligans To Throw Bottles At Bebe Cool? Muhoozi Warns Police, Cindy Boom Party Organisers…

Published

on

The first son, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba who is also the Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations has attacked police and event organizers for not providing protection to singer Bebe Cool during musician Cinderella Sanyu’s concert on Saturday.

There were ugly scenes at Lugogo Cricket Oval as Bebe Cool was performing during Cindy’s Boom party concert when bottles were pelted at Bebe Cool while on stage from a section of fans.

Bebe Cool was also booed and accused of siding with their “oppressors” and attempts by the MC to calm the angry fans proved futile.

However, in a tweet, Gen. Muhoozi said it was wrong for security to let such hooliganism continue under their watch.

“How could police and the bouncers at Cindy’s concert allow a few hooligans to hurl bottles at one of Uganda’s greatest artists? The same hooligans beat up women on women’s day for simply loving President Museveni and Bebe Cool, We expect a lot better next time from Police,” Muhoozi tweeted on Monday.

Catherine Kusasira, Full- Figure and Big Eye are some of the other artists who have fallen victim to the fans throwing bottles at them while performing during concerts.

Recently, police warned that it would be forced to ban some concerts if organizers fail to provide security measures to tackle hooliganism.

“We would like to issue a serious warning to event promoters and organizers against acts of disorder by revelers and activists burling bottles and stones during public events and in particular music concerts. We do not want to see a repeat of these ugly incidents which have the potential of putting lives of participants at greater risk,” Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga said in January.
