No One Attacks The Church And Wins -Pastor Bugembe Warns Ugandans Attacking Him Over ‘Engule’ Song

Musician turned man of God Pastor Wilson Bugembe of the worship house in Nansana has warned a group of Ugandan youths who have launched a campaign on social media bashing him, to stop attacking the church.
Speaking in a press conference held at Mestil hotel in Kampala yesterday, where he unveiled the coming of international gospel artiste Don Moen, who is set to perform at the first ever Kampala Praise Fest to be held at Kololo independence grounds, the youthful pastor told journalists that no one can attack the church and be successful. He advised those attacking the church to instead target the individuals who are in the wrong.
“Young man ,you can attack me left ,right and any other way but leave the church. Never tell any pastor or any man of God to close the churches because they don’t own them ,you may think that you are attacking Bugembe but in actual sense you are attacking a number of people because today Bugembe is here tomorrow he won’t be around but the church will always be here. No man in history has attacked the church and won,” Bugembe told one of the journalist.
Concerning his involvement in ‘Tuliyambale engule’ song, Bugembe said that he never regrets being part of the song. He added that he took part in the song as a mediator in the current political situation in the country and being that Bobi wine is his good friend, there was no reason why he could miss out in the video.
Bugembe appealed to all Ugandans who misunderstood him to know that he is not against the government because the NRM government has done many good things for the born-again faith in the country.

Richest Man In Singapore Reveals His Secret To The Younger Generation—Jesus

Singapore richest man Phillip Ng

“There is more to life than wealth,” the richest man in Singapore Philip Ng has revealed

The Grapevine has learnt that Philip Ng is considered to be Singapore’s richest man. He has a net worth of  $11.9 Billion and he is not only financially rich but also a certified follower of Jesus. Ng revealed that what made him truly wealthy was not his large amount of money, but his relationship with Jesus Christ.

One of Philip Ng’s mentees Matthew Yao, asked what advice he would give to the younger generation. “Your heart will melt the moment you hear his wonderful answer,” he stated. According to Mr. Ng, he discovered that we are all broken and the only one that can fill the missing piece in our hearts is God – through His son Jesus Christ.

“People try to find that missing piece through the pursuit of money, popularity, alcohol, drugs, sex, achievements, and even in romantic relationships.  However, there is more to this life.  People are searching for better lives and better things, but life will never be better without Jesus.  For He is the only one that can satisfy us.  Real wealth is only found in Jesus,” Mr. Ng said

Mr. Ng chose to share Jesus with the young people instead of sharing about success and business matters.  We have to look deeper inside our hearts. God’s love is more valuable than any riches in this world.  Choose Him and you will discover real wealth just like that which Mr Philip Ng experienced.

More MPs Back Lwanga’s Proposal To Have Tithe Deducted Directly From Salaries

Dr Cyprian Lwanga, the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese

Busia Municipality legislator Hon. Geoffrey Machon and Kalungu West legislator Joseph Gonzaga Ssewungu have backed the idea by Dr Cyprian Lwanga, the Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese of deducting tithe directly from Christian’s salaries.

“Tithe is very important in church that is why every year we come together and head to Namugongo, that is why you see churches and mosques being constructed every day,” Macho said.

Kalungu West MP Sewungu, a staunch catholic said that it’s within the Catholic doctrine to abide by all orders from the Holy See.

“In some of those churches in the village, it is hard to raise Shs20,000 in those offertory baskets, and when the Pope says something, no one argues with it, so if they say they are going to deduct from the salary, I can’t respond to that,” Hon. Sewungu said.

The legislator added that Dr. Lwanga isn’t the first man of God to find himself in the eye of the storm over tithe remarks. Sewungu said that in February 2018, Pastor Robert Kayanja of Rubaga Miracle Center Cathedral asked President Yoweri Museveni to consider allocating 10% of government’s annual budget to the Church as a tithe offering to God adding that this act would be critical in putting an end to the country’s perennial dependence on other countries and world bodies for development.

Kayanja at that time requested the president to give 10% of the National Budget to the Church given that he (Museveni) is a believer who was entrusted by God to carry out the biblical duties in the country.

While addressing congregants over the weekend at Rubaga Cathedral, Lwanga expressed concerns over the failure by many Catholics, who have been found of ‘cheating’ God by abdicating their religious role to pay tithe, saying this has slowed the pace at which the Church carries out its work.
